Before We Fall

Before We Fall

It seems that it's time again
To wear our broken wings
Before we fall much further

But in this decadent life
We can't be allowed to fly
Generations without redemption
A spider's web full of lies

It seems that it's time again
To wear our broken wings
Before we fall much further

But though we save ourselves
The rest are left to die
Though we can't stop to mourn
Salt raindrops still fall below

It seems it's time again
To wear our broken wings
Before we fall much further

But even if it's all forgotten
Not a soul could forgive us
With just our sorrowful grief
And broken wings behind us

Fantasy

Fantasy

If I was your fantasy
What happened to your dreams
Did you just wake up
Or did they turn to nightmares

You left me lying naked
On my own bedroom floor
My mind rejecting my body
Which you used so mercilessly

If I was your fantasy
What happened to your dreams
Did you just wake up
Or did they turn to nightmares

There's no time to wonder why
You caused my soul to die
Leaving your anger behind
To shout above my screams

If I was your fantasy
What happened to your dreams
Did you just wake up
Or did they turn to nightmares

Now I inhabit the park
Where so many have died
And I tie the rope tight
Ready to repeat history

If I was your fantasy
What happened to your dreams
Did you just wake up
Or did they turn to nightmares

You appeared as I expected
To meet for one last time
But in the end you lost
As I left you there to hang

Where The Trees Wave

Where The Trees Wave

Where the trees wave
I sit by the river
And watch the years
As they all drift by

Birds sing sweetly
Their lullaby of love
Sharing dark passion
As my heart sleeps on

Where the mountains rest
I sit by the river
And watch the years
As they all drift by

The earth tells tales
Of brave corruption
To break my heart
With another demon

Where the grasses whisper
I sit by the river
And watch the years
As they all drift by

Nature makes a pillow
Of comforting thorns
To spite my elegy
Of damned lost hope

Where the trees wave
I sit by the river
And watch the years
As they all drift by

Where the trees wave
I sit by the river
And watch the years
As I let them drift by
